- A training program will be developed to enhance the capacity of HEIs in fostering institutional engagement and change in the field of Beyond 5G technology.
- Training of HEI administrators, faculty, and staff will be delivered through webinars. The training will cover topics such as innovation and entrepreneurship, partnership building, and knowledge sharing.
- 2 webinars will be organised in Phase 1.
- 3 webinars will be organised in Plase 2.
- Provision of mentorship and support to HEIs to implement the practices and tools learned through the training program. The mentorship and support will be provided through b2b and b2m follow-up digital sessions.
- An innovation and business development accelerator start-up program will be developed for HEI students and alumni. The program will enable HEI students to develop their entrepreneurial and business skills, and to gain access to the tools, resources and networks necessary for transforming their ideas into innovative products and services. Furthermore, it will facilitate the development of collaboration between HEIs and external partners for the development and commercialization of innovative products and services.
- Provision of training and mentorship to the accelerator program participants on developing and launching innovations and businesses in the field of Beyond 5G technology. The program will include webinars, webinar trainings and workshops, as well as customized mentorship tailored to the individual needs of each accelerator program participant.
The program will be delivered in 2 circles, one in each Phase of the project:
- Capacity building on start up programs for HEIs.
2 training programs for HEIs staff on how to design and implement start up support activities.
- 1st training program – Phase1: Aims to provide capacity building on how to build incubation and business support services for early stage startups. It includes 1 day webinar, and 1 one-to-many mentoring session.
- 2nd training program – Phase2: Aims to provide capacity building on how to build acceleration and business support services for scale ups. It includes 1 day webinar, and 2 one to many mentoring sessions.
- Best practices for innovation and entrepreneurial education will be developed in the field of Beyond 5G technology. It includes literature review, adapting relevant practices, and creating best practices.
- It involves the development of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of Beyond 5G technology. It will include modules on how to develop innovative products, services and businesses in this domain.
- Provision of training and mentorship to HEI faculties on integrating the best practices into their innovation and entrepreneurial education courses.
- The training will cover various topics such as teaching methodologies, curriculum development, student engagement, and effective use of technology in the classroom.
- 1 digital training session will be organised in Phase 1.
- 2 digital training sessions will be organised in Phase 2.
- Mentorship will be provided to faculty members to help them integrate the best practices into their existing courses.
- 1 one-to-many mentorship sessions in Phase 1.
- 2 one-to-many mentoring sessions in phase 2.
